Shaq

It’s not winning an NBA ring nor making his freethrows that Shaq’s will be facing this summer. He is embarked to transform six obese middle school youngsters from Florida into a healthy, fit kid.

Will this be a viewers’ attraction? Well, I would rather see Shaq for this challenge than watching him struggle on the freethrow line every single night. The Shaq’s Big Challenge, will debut Tuesday, June 26 on ABC Television Network.

Sanjaya Malakar

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

If there is a character in the American Idol Season 6 that would last in the minds of Americans, it is Sanjaya Malakar. He stormed the Idol by breaking the “great voice goes deeper rule” in singing competition.

Sanjaya defied the odds and made the American Idol rating high. He extremely affected the media that millions of pages had been published about him.

He performed in the Finale night and again with his charisma, he made the audience jumping. But many observed that what made his performance effective was the outstanding introduction. Here’s the script:

In a world where man fade into obscurity, true visionary seize the day and shape our future, one like john f. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Gandi. Now another comes forth one with the courage to embrace his destiny, one who stands firm in the face of adversity. There’s been hysteria but never like this. He is in one world, Sanjaya Malakar.
Sorry that’s two word, and here he is performing live with Joe Perry from Aerosmith.

Ladies and gentlemen Sanjaya!!!!

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

The decline of viewerships of American Idol Season 6 tells us a sign that this show’s jewels which are the contestants are likewise dissipating.

If we mixed the contestants of Season 5 and Season 6, Jordin Sparks won’t even be in the top 5. I mean the talents that Taylor Hicks competed with were just above the normal.

Yearly, the American viewers find American Idol uninteresting.

Looking back of the first American Idol, which at that time was not popularly known, the tears that shed on Kelly Clarkson’s face after being declared as the American Idol were preciously considered to be from the heart. She was given the opportunity to enter into her dream.

Her dream came true as we presently are witnessing her success. Join me and watch again the first American Idol. Her joy that time was so real that you felt the goosebumps.
