Eric & Danielle hung on to narrowly beat Dustin & Kandice and Charla & Mirna to win The Amazing Race All-Stars and the one million dollar prize. I’m a little bummed though because I was really pulling for Dustin & Kandice. I think with the exception of the little spat in Hawaii they really worked well as a team and I was surprised they didn’t do better with the final challenge. Kudos to Charla & Mirna as well, the kayak challenge in Hawaii had to be tough on both of them but they compelted it and for all their perceived faults they gave it a good run and in the end stood an excellent shot at winning.

I was glad to see the teams were kept close and the final challenge was one that could have given any of the three the advantage to win. They all had a shot and there was no perceived manipulation that favored one over the other. The season itself was pretty good, All-Star seasons for anything are really hard to get into but overall I think it turned out pretty good. The only problem I have with Eric & Danielle winning is they seemed to whine a lot and that just grated on my nerves. In the end they were first so that’s all that really matters and congrats to them. Hopefully, they’ll watch this bac, read some of the reviews and maybe learn a thing or two about themselves.

The next Amazing Race hasn’t been announced yet, but should be pretty soon. Hopefully it won’t be another set of lack luster races and it would be great to see some more difficult challenges like the Kayak in Hawaii.

Last Sunday the Amazing Race All-Stars sent Danny & Oswald packing and sets up the final three teams that will race to the finish and the million dollar prize this week.

Dustin & Kandice the blond beauty queens that raced together last season. Arguably one of the the best, if not the best, all female team to run the race, they’ve worked well together. Can they keep it together long enough to get them to the end and the prize?

Eric & Danielle who have fought like cats & dogs almost the entire way. They’ve been yielded twice and Danielle’s all but given up too many times to count, yet they remain in the race and have a good shot at winning.

Charla & Mirna are the most unlikely team in the final three. These two both have strong, independent personalities and have clashed with nearly every other team. They’ve made it to the end and have an excellent shot at winning, can they hang on long enough to prove everybody wrong?
