Crosby still out for a week

The Pittsburgh Penguins will have to wait to see if Marian Hossa is the ideal place to linemate Sidney Crosby.

Crosby said Friday in practice, it’s missing a week of a strong recovery ankle sprain.

“I just happen overnight, a week here, to give him more time to rest,” said Crosby. “Only one of these things harass. I know what happens in the future, and I hope that I will best chance too many. ”

The penguins are not required to assess the effectiveness of their trade deadline Hossa much to gain by the Atlanta Thrashers, either because Hossa, Crosby or both were injured, insofar as each match. Hossa has been slowed by a knee injury.

If Crosby rest of the programming that time, it will be three other events: Sunday at home against the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night, the New York Rangers and at home against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
